Your travel and/or tour arrangements provided by Costa Rica
Go are subject to all the terms and conditions set forth in this statement.
Please read this document as carefully as possible.
Prices
All prices are quoted in US Dollars. We will not accept any claims for
price disparities, once the tour proposal and quotation has been accepted
and pre-paid by clients, and/or their agent.
Our prices exclude any extra transportation
or tours which are not part of the itinerary, porterage and tips to local
guides.
Also not included are: excess baggage charges, meals
or beverages not specifically included in the itinerary, laundry, phone
calls, and other items of a personal nature, car rental insurance and/or
security deposit, Costa Rica Departure tax.
All prices are subject to change without notice until full payment is
received.
Airfares and Air Transportation:
Air transportation:
is provided by IATA / ARC Air Scheduled carriers. The airlines and their
agents or affiliates are not to be held responsible for any act, or omission,
or event during the time passengers are not on board the aircraft. The
passenger ticket, issued by the airline, shall constitute the sole contract
between the airline and the purchaser and/or passenger. The service of
any IATA carrier may be used. The validity of these provisions shall be
independent.
Land arrangements:
Hotels, meals, sightseeing, car rentals, and other land services will
be furnished as offered in the description of each package or Itinerary,
except that the tour operator reserves the right to make alterations as
may be mandated by necessities of logistics, scheduling, room or equipment
availability, etc.
Reservation and Payments:
Airfares require immediate payment in order to keep reservation and rate.
A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is required to activate a
land only reservation. Balance is due 60 days before departure. Bookings
taken within 60 days of travel date require the same initial activation
deposit, and balance will be due upon confirmation.
For travel during holidays: Christmas period (Dec. 15- Jan. 15) and
Easter Week (a week before and week after Easter), a non–refundable
deposit of $300 per person is required. For such periods, final payment
is due 90 days prior.
Entry Requirement :
U.S. citizens must have a valid passport for entry to Costa Rica and are
required to carry proof of identification at all times. Citizens of other
countries please consult local consulates. We cannot assume responsibility
for denied boarding.
Cancellation, Changes & Refund policies:
These fees will apply in addition to any cancellation charges, supplier
fees or penalties imposed by airlines, hotels, cruises or any other suppliers
Air Cancellation & Changes:
Airline tickets can be: refundable with or without penalty fees; changeable
with or without penalty fees; non refundable or non-changeable. The rules
and policies of each airline will apply. You will be advised at time of
booking.
Land Cancellation:
More than 45 days prior departure: $200.00 Fees per passenger . Between
44 days and 16 days prior departure: $250.00 Fees per passenger. Less
than 16 days: NO REFUND.
Land Changes:
$50.00 fee per passenger per change, if changes are made prior to departure.
Any changes made to the itinerary by the passenger once the trip has commenced
are the sole responsibility of the passenger. No refunds for unused services.
Notification of changes and /or cancellation :
Must be sent in writing to Costa Rica Go, 280 Moreton Bay Lane, Suite
4, Santa Barbara, California 93117.
Refund requests must be in writing within 30 days of return, and must
be accompanied by all pertinent receipts and documents. Absolutely no
refund will be made for unused or partially used hotel or car rental vouchers.
Costa Rica Go reserves the right to charge an administrative fee of $100
minimum for processing any refunds occurring due to extenuating circumstances.
Baggage:
Allowance of baggage on international flights, as well as domestic flights
in Costa Rica is in accordance with the airline regulations. On boats
and light aircrafts, one suitcase per person allowed: 25 lbs. Costa Rica
Go not responsible for loss or damage to luggage.
Protection of Funds:
Costa Rica Go, is registered with the State of California Attorney General
as a seller of travel pursuant to Section 17550 of the California Business
and Professions Code under:
California Seller of Travel #2082489-40.
As such, all customer deposits and payments are secured in Costa Rica
Go's Client Trust Account.

Responsibility:
Costa Rica Go as an agent (with services provided by independent companies),
and shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss (including baggage
loss or damage), expense, or other irregularity caused by the defect of
any vehicle or conveyance, or the negligence of any company or person
engaged in conveying the passenger or carrying out the arrangements for
the tour or by accident, delay, flight schedule, change, cancellation,
sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, or any similar cause. Liability
of Costa Rica Go shall in any case be limited to the amount paid to Costa
Rica Go and any claim shall be adjudicated in and governed by the laws
of the State of California. Personal and baggage insurance is strongly
recommended.
Valuable Insurance protection:
Travel insurance is NOT included with the packages. We highly recommend
to have an insurance protection for trip cancellation, medical emergencies
or illness, and baggage loss. Costa Rica Go works closely with various
professional and competitive Insurance Companies offering very comprehensive
